Consultation for licensed therapists
One-on-one case consultation for licensed clinicians, booked when you need it. Bring a stuck case, a level-of-care question, or a client you're not sure you should be seeing alone. We'll think it through together.

You don't have to refer out every eating disorder case. Sometimes you just need someone to think with.
At a glance
What to bring
Bring de-identified case details and your questions. We'll leave with a clearer picture and a next step.
Muscle dysmorphia, compulsive exercise, steroid and supplement use, "clean eating" that isn't, and the shame that keeps men from naming any of it. As past co-chair of the Academy for Eating Disorders' Male Eating Disorder SIG, I can help you spot what standard screens miss and adapt treatment so it lands with male clients.
Screening, diagnosis, atypical presentations, and what to ask that clients won't volunteer.
When outpatient is enough, when it isn't, what labs and vitals to request, and how to talk about stepping up care.
Ambivalence, relapse, plateaus, and clients who say the right things but nothing changes.
Collaborating with dietitians, physicians and psychiatrists, and what to do when there's no team yet.
Your own relationship with food and bodies shows up in this work. We can talk about that too.
Rates
Room for a full case review, or two or three smaller questions.
One focused question, like a level-of-care decision or how to open a hard conversation.
Consultation or supervision?
Your consultant
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, and I've spent the past decade working with adults navigating their relationship with food and body image. I recently finished my term as co-chair of the Academy for Eating Disorders' Male Eating Disorder Special Interest Group.
I consult the way I do therapy: as a partnership. You know your client far better than I do. My job is to get curious with you, offer what I've learned from this specialty, and help you leave with a plan you believe in.
How it works
Email your license type, 30 or 50 minutes, and a one-line summary of your question. Please leave out anything that could identify your client.
I'll reply with times, a secure payment link and, for your first consult, a short agreement to sign.
You'll get a secure video link for your session. Afterward I'll send any resources we talked about.
Questions therapists ask
We discuss cases using de-identified information only: no names, birthdates or other details that could identify your client. You don't need a release for de-identified consultation, but follow your own setting's policies.
You are. Consultation is advisory. You make the clinical decisions, and I don't see, contact or treat your client.
Consultation doesn't count toward your licensure hours, and it doesn't replace your supervisor. Supervision for associates is coming soon. Email me if you'd like to hear when it opens.
No. Consultation doesn't count toward the CEDS credential or provide continuing education credit.
Yes. Some therapists like a monthly check-in while they're building eating disorder experience. Just ask when you request your first consult.
Email me your license type, whether you'd like 30 or 50 minutes, and a one-line summary of your question. I'll reply within two business days with times and a secure payment link.
Please don't include client-identifying information by email. Consultation isn't crisis care. If a client is in crisis, call 911 or 988.
