I'm not the expert on you. We figure out what works, together.
About
I enjoy creating a space where you can freely articulate your thoughts without judgment, and where we can connect on a deep level. Often, you'll find me taking on the role of a compassionate, empathetic coach — standing on the sidelines, cheering you on, and patiently reminding you of your strengths and the strategies we've built together, especially when self-doubt, uncertainty, or fear creep in.
I want to acknowledge something up front: I am not the expert on you. I understand evidence-based treatment models — the manuals, the research, the years of study it took to get here — but that doesn't mean any of it is automatically applicable to your life. I see our work as a partnership. We both adopt a lens of curiosity, thoughtfully design experiments to try before our next session, and evaluate together what stuck and what didn't. Over time, what remains becomes a plan that's genuinely yours.
Areas of Focus
My particular passion is working with adults navigating their relationship with food and body image — I completed my term as co-chair of the Male Eating Disorder Special Interest Group (SIG) for the Academy for Eating Disorders this past June 2026, and I remain an active, participating member of that community.
Persistent worry, overthinking, and the physical toll it takes on daily life.
Low mood, loss of motivation, and finding your way back to yourself.
Burnout, career pivots, and the pressure to have it all figured out.
Focus, follow-through, and building systems that actually fit your brain.
Understanding what's underneath the anger and responding with intention.
Working through identity, emotional expression, and the pressure to have it all together.
More Ways to Work Together
A 10-week support group for new and expecting fathers. A small, closed group where dads talk honestly with other dads in the same season of life, with a therapist keeping the space steady. Founding cohort pricing is available now.
One-on-one case consultation for licensed clinicians, by video and booked as needed. Bring a stuck case, a level-of-care question, or a client you're not sure you should be seeing alone.
How We Work Together
We approach whatever you're carrying without judgment — asking what's really going on before deciding what to do about it.
Together we craft something small and specific to try before our next session — not a generic homework sheet, but something built for you.
We come back and honestly assess what worked and what didn't. What sticks becomes part of your plan. We repeat.
If you want directness
Some clients ask me to be more assertive — to give straightforward feedback and call things out when I see them. I can meet you there.
If you want space
Others prefer I take more of a back seat — asking open-ended questions and letting you draw your own conclusions. I can meet you there too.
